COVID-19

Dear Customers,

Despite the mixed messages from the Government over the recent days, Alter London took the difficult decision to temporarily close our UK workshops and move the key offices to remote working.

It is with a heavy heart under exceptional circumstances but a decision to support the safety and wellbeing of our amazing team, families, customers and the wider community. In the meantime, we urge you to keep yourselves and others safe by adhering to a stay at home policy unless otherwise essential.
Although this temporary shutdown is for an initial period of only a few weeks, we will keep you updated on our re-opening plans as they evolve.

As part of our business continuity plans, we’d like to take this opportunity to reassure you that our key office and support teams are available via phone and email, providing sales, service and support for our clients as usual. We will be processing orders and enquiries to provide order approvals and CAD drawings in readiness for manufacturing to commence.

Alter London is continuously monitoring the COVID-19 situation, following advice from UK authorities and adhering to government guidelines to provide regular updates to keep business as normal as possible. We are communicating with all clients to make additional arrangements to ensure delivery and consistency of service across all projects.

Thank you for your loyal and continued support. Stay safe and please keep in touch through these challenging times.

Best Wishes,

Khalid Kohi

Business as usual…

Existing customer orders
Upon receipt of approved line drawings, finishes and delivery of fabrics, orders will commence first week of our production schedule, which is tentatively scheduled w/c 13th April. Orders that are already mid-production will be scheduled for delivery estimated to commence w/c 13th April.

Note: All dates are estimated and subject to review with Government guidelines.

New customers orders
Our remote offices are still functioning at full capacity to support the processing of orders. We would advise Clients who are looking to place orders to continue as normal, as there is likely to be a backlog with our order book and material suppliers. As new orders are approved, these will be prioritised and placed into the production queue based on approval date.
